Job summary

Crossmint is hiring its first dedicated Anti-Fraud Engineer to build the decisioning layer used across onboarding, transfers, on/offramps, and card transactions. The role requires ownership of production rules, data pipelines, and signals such as device and behavior analysis.

You will report to the Engineering Manager for Identity, Compliance & Risk and collaborate with Risk Operations, Compliance, Legal, Security, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production systems, with 3+ years focused on fraud, risk, or trust and safety.
• Hands-on ownership of a rules engine or model-serving path in production, plus the data pipeline behind it.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own fraud decisioning across onboarding attempts, stablecoin transfers, on/offramp orders, and card transactions.
• Turn analyst judgment into production rules and models with versioning, backtesting, and quick rollback.
• Build signals for decisions: device, behavior, velocity, counterparty, and graph relationships across clients and wallets.
• Lead the engineering side of fraud incidents: containment, root-cause analysis, and fixing the product.
