Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an Antenna Systems Engineer to design, test, and optimize antennas and RF front-ends for space and ground segments. You will own RF performance end-to-end, from ADC/DAC to antenna radiation, collaborating with RFIC, PA/LNA, and validation teams.

Experience with MATLAB/Python and CST/HFSS is required, along with a Master’s degree in EE/CE and 5+ years in antenna/RF design.

Qualifications

Master's degree required in electrical/computer engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in antenna design, RF system design, or front-end design.
Proficiency in MATLAB or Python and experience with antenna simulation tools.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize antenna and array architectures to meet RF system goals.
Own end-to-end RF performance from ADC/DAC through RF front-end to antenna radiation.
Use EM design tools (HFSS, CST) to simulate element/array performance and patterns.
Collaborate with calibration, software, DSP, ASIC, and validation teams to define system strategies and test.
Define and maintain antenna specifications at module, aperture, and system levels.
Support prototype builds, chamber testing, and over-the-air validation of antennas.
Provide design reports and present results to leadership and cross-functional partners.
Develop and deploy code to support testing, simulation, and validation of antenna systems.
