Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Senior Antenna Design Engineer in McKinney, TX to develop advanced antennas, ultra‑wideband phased arrays, and LO survivability tech for national‑importance programs.

The role requires onsite work with some remote capability and a DoD Secret clearance on day one. You will guide design teams, use HFSS/CST/FEKO/SENTRi/X-Patch, and coordinate with manufacturing to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least five years of RF engineering experience.
• Experience with RCS modeling, measurement, or reduction.
• Experience designing antennas, phased arrays, or RF passive components (radiators, radomes, etc).
• Experience with EM modeling tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi, X-Patch or related software.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, realize, and verify advanced Low Observable antennas and ultra‑wideband arrays.
• Provide technical solutions for radar, EW, communications, geolocation, and related systems.
• Lead design teams through architecture trades and EM analysis with LO requirements.
• Model performance using full‑wave EM tools and validate via testing and measurements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Assembly, and Test to fabricate prototypes and support manufacturing.
