Atlas Tech is seeking an Ansible Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated network solutions for a Navy customer. You will work with Cisco devices, SD‑WAN, and Linux systems, crafting scalable playbooks and standards while ensuring security and RMF compliance.

The role supports telework up to 2 days per week and may extend remote options to multiple states. A DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship are required, with opportunities for growth and mentorship.

Formación

• US citizenship required.
• DoD Secret clearance required.
• Extensive hands-on Ansible experience with playbooks/modules/Jinja2.
• Background in enterprise networking fundamentals (routing/switching/firewalls/VLANs/BGP/OSPF).
• Experience with IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, CIDR.
• Familiar with Linux networking and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Proficiency with YAML file structures.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network and automation issues.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation for network ops.
• Act as technical authority for Ansible automation in the network domain.
• Manage SD-WAN environments and Cisco network infrastructure via Ansible.
• Develop reusable automation patterns, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with network engineering, operations, PMs and architecture teams.
• Maintain docs on automation, topology impacts, and guides.
• Ensure solutions align with DISA STIGs, RMF, and change management processes.
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to junior engineers.
