Atlas Tech, a veteran-owned IT company serving multiple DoD customers, seeks an experienced Ansible Automation Engineer with strong networking to design, implement, and maintain automated solutions for Linux servers and Cisco SD-WAN environments. This role supports our Navy customer and requires a DoD Secret clearance.

The position offers telework up to 2 days per week, with remote options across many states. Travel up to 10% may be required. Apply via [e-mail].

Qualifications

• Experience with Ansible playbooks, roles, Jinja2 templates, and dynamic inventories.
• Background in enterprise networking (routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, BGP, OSPF).
• Strong Linux networking knowledge and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9/10 familiarity.
• Familiarity with security/compliance (DISA STIGs, RMF).
• Ability to obtain required DoD clearance and work in US-based environment.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks and automation frameworks for network ops.
• Serve as technical authority for Ansible automation strategy in the network domain.
• Automate SD-WAN environments and Cisco network infrastructure management.
• Create reusable automation patterns and best practices for network teams.
• Document automation processes, topology impacts, and operational guides.
• Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and change-management processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
