Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer focused on infrastructure automation. The role involves developing end-to-end automation using Ansible, scripting in Python/Bash/PowerShell, and building RESTful APIs to orchestrate workflows.

You will work in a hybrid environment in Dallas, with partial remote options, collaborating in Agile settings to automate infrastructure and enable self-service across engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in end-to-end enterprise software development lifecycle with automation.
• Crucial integration experience required.

Responsibilities

• Automate high-priority tasks and end-to-end workflows across engagements.
• Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for complex requirements.
• Create RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Flask to orchestrate automation workflows.
• Build IaC with CI/CD and version control best practices.
• Collaborate in Agile/SAFe environments with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with security policies.
• Document solutions, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot production issues.
