Job summary

Uvation is seeking a Red Hat Ansible Engineer to design, implement, and manage automated configuration and deployment strategies using Ansible across IT systems. You will collaborate with system administrators, developers, and IT leadership to automate provisioning and updates.

You will develop playbooks and workflows, ensure security and compliance, document procedures, and mentor staff. This role may involve on-call rotation and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years IT experience, with at least 3 years managing Ansible environments.
• Strong knowledge of Ansible components: playbooks, roles, and Ansible Tower; Linux admin, scripting, networking, security.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an automation strategy using Ansible.
• Manage configuration of servers, networks, and software with Ansible.
• Automate software deployment across environments and integrate with development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and support Ansible environment and tasks.
• Ensure security and compliance with policies; automate patching and hardening.
• Document configurations and provide reports on performance and compliance.
• Train and mentor IT staff on Ansible and IT automation.
