Qualifications

• 7+ years automating Linux OS patches and upgrades with Ansible.
• 7+ years automating build and deployment processes, including database changes.
• 7+ years Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• 4+ years Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• 3+ years Git or Bitbucket, including branching and merging.
• 2+ years Docker and Kubernetes.
• 2+ years developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, TeamCity, or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure and software release life cycles.
• Experience with Ansible Tower/AWX, YAML, and infrastructure-as-code principles is highly desirable.

Job description

The role involves creating and maintaining Ansible playbooks, troubleshooting automation issues, ensuring consistent and reliable deployments across environments, and collaborating with DevOps and application teams to enhance CI/CD workflows. Strong knowledge of Linux, Ansible Tower/AWX, YAML, automation best practices, and infrastructure-as-code principles is required. Experience with debugging deployments, validating configurations, and improving release reliability is aplus.

The position will work with IT management to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuous integration and Continuous deployment (CI/CD) of application changes. This position will interact with the architects, developers, deployment Team, and Database Administrators to ensure automation of various tasks.
