Job summary

Torc is seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to the Fleet Enablement & Insights platform. You will build a 2D/3D annotation editor, enable high-performance rendering, and develop backend services for labeling workflows using TS/React, Python, and AWS.

You’ll work with HD map data, multi-sensor data, and collaborate with ML/engineering teams to scale auto-labeling and QA pipelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-quality web applications.
• Proficiency with large sensor datasets and performance-focused UIs.
• Experience building Python backend services and APIs.
• Strong communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the TS/React web app for 2D/3D annotation.
• Build high-performance 3D rendering with three.js/WebGL and multi-sensor overlays.
• Develop services for label storage, tasks, QA, and authentication.
• Integrate pre-labeling outputs and instrument acceptance-rate metrics.
• Collaborate with Data Annotation, Autonomy/ML, and Data Engineering teams.
