Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is seeking a Lead Front-End UI Engineer to drive a complex Angular application from concept to deployment. You will set UI best practices, collaborate with Java backend teams for API integration, and lead testing and performance optimization efforts.

You will mentor junior engineers and guide architecture in a fast-paced, Agile/SecDevOps environment, overseeing Kubernetes deployments and delivering scalable UI solutions.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or MS with extensive related experience, or 4 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to obtain CBP Background Investigation prior to start.
• Experience with Agile Scrum and SecDevOps environments.
• Experience with containerized apps (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven track record leading UI projects and building apps from scratch.
• 4+ years hands-on Angular (v2+) experience and deep understanding of its ecosystem.
• Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, NPM, Node.js).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices; Axios knowledge helpful.
• Familiarity with Java backend paradigms and UI/backend integration.
• Solid understanding of JWT-based authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of a complex Angular UI from inception to production.
• Define and enforce UI development best practices and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with Java backend teams to ensure API integration and alignment.
• Drive comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
• Architect scalable front-end solutions and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure performance, responsiveness, and superior user experience.
• Work within an Agile Scrum framework and contribute to SecDevOps culture.
• Oversee deployment of UI into Kubernetes environments.
