Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation is seeking a Senior Angular UI Lead to design, develop, and deploy a complex Angular application from inception to production. You will set UI standards, collaborate with Java backend teams, and drive thorough testing strategies to ensure high performance and a great user experience.

The role requires deep Angular expertise (2+), strong leadership, and hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Webpack, and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree and 12+ years of related experience or Master’s with 10+ years of related experience; OR 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Must be able to obtain CBP Background Investigation prior to start.
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and SecDevOps environment.
• Experience with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience leading UI projects and building applications from ground up.
• 4+ years hands-on Angular (2+) experience; deep understanding of core principles, components, routing, services, state management.
• Experience with front-end build tools and package managers (Webpack, Babel, NPM, Node.js).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices; Axios for HTTP requests.
• Familiarity with Java backend ecosystem and common UI/backend integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of modern authorization mechanisms, e.g., JSON Web Token (JWT).

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience with front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, Babel, NPM, Node.js).
• Demonstrated experience working with RESTful APIs and Microservices, including expertise with HTTP request libraries like Axios.
• Familiarity with the Java backend ecosystem and common patterns for UI/backend integration
• Solid understanding of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token (JWT)

Preferred Skills (Not essential but beneficial to have):

• Hands on working experience with NgRx for complex state management.
• Hands on experience with more current specifications of EcmaScript (ES6)
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, Node etc.
• Experience with UI testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Cypress).
• A strong portfolio or examples of previous Angular applications developed from scratch.
• Experience with UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to benchmark and optimize UI application performance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for front-end applications.
• Familiarity with real-time UI monitoring tools.
