Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation is seeking a Senior Angular UI Lead to design, develop, and deploy a complex Angular application from inception to production. You will set UI standards, collaborate with Java backend teams, and drive thorough testing strategies to ensure high performance and a great user experience.

The role requires deep Angular expertise (2+), strong leadership, and hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Webpack, and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree and 12+ years of related experience or Master’s with 10+ years of related experience; OR 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Must be able to obtain CBP Background Investigation prior to start.
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and SecDevOps environment.
• Experience with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience leading UI projects and building applications from ground up.
• 4+ years hands-on Angular (2+) experience; deep understanding of core principles, components, routing, services, state management.
• Experience with front-end build tools and package managers (Webpack, Babel, NPM, Node.js).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices; Axios for HTTP requests.
• Familiarity with Java backend ecosystem and common UI/backend integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of modern authorization mechanisms, e.g., JSON Web Token (JWT).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of a new complex Angular UI application from inception to deployment.
• Define and enforce UI development best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with Java backend developers to align API requirements and integration.
• Drive unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies for the UI.
• Architect scalable, maintainable front-end solutions for future growth.
• Mentor junior developers and promote technical excellence within the UI team.
• Ensure UI is optimized for performance, responsiveness, and UX.
• Operate within Agile Scrum and contribute to SecDevOps culture.
• Oversee deployment of UI into Kubernetes environments.
