Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC in Ashburn, Virginia seeks an experienced Senior Angular UI Engineer to lead a new complex UI application from inception to deployment. You will define UI standards, collaborate with Java backend teams, and drive robust testing and scalable front-end architecture.

You will mentor junior developers, optimize performance and user experience, and contribute to SecDevOps and Kubernetes deployment practices within an Agile Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree and 12 years of related experience or Master s with 10 years of related experience; OR 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
• Must be able to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and SecDevOps environment
• Experience with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proven experience leading UI projects and building applications from scratch
• 4 years of hands-on Angular (version 2+)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of a new, complex Angular UI application from inception to deployment.
• Define and enforce UI development best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with Java backend developers to understand API requirements and integration.
• Drive unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies for the UI.
• Architect and implement scalable front-end solutions for future growth.
• Mentor junior developers and foster technical excellence within the UI team.
• Ensure UI performance, responsiveness, and user experience are optimized.
• Work within an Agile Scrum methodology and contribute to SecDevOps culture.
• Oversee deployment of the UI application into Kubernetes environments.
