Job summary

Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital is seeking a Sr. Anesthesia Technician to provide anesthesia support across ORs and related areas. The role requires independent judgment and advanced technical skills for equipment setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting within ES and perioperative spaces.

Responsibilities include mentoring other anesthesia technicians, ensuring readiness of locations and equipment, and collaborating with the anesthesia team to deliver safe patient care across multiple units.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in anesthesia technology or related field required
• Experience requirements if no degree
• BLS certification required
• Cer.A.T. certification required

Responsibilities

• Independently perform anesthesia support activities across locations
• Assist anesthesia providers and team during procedures
• Serve as a training resource and mentor to ATs
• Maintain equipment readiness and infection control standards
