Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Sr. Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers across ORs, Cath Lab, Endoscopy and ICUs. You will set up, troubleshoot, and monitor anesthesia equipment, ensuring all locations are ready and safe for procedures.

This role also mentors junior technicians and collaborates with the care team to maintain high standards. The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in Anesthesia Technology or related field, ASATT certification or equivalent experience, and

Qualifications

Associate degree required; either in Anesthesia Technology with certification or in equivalent health-related field.
If no certification, must meet experience requirements.
Two years Anesthesia Tech experience with ASATT certification OR three years with an associate's degree OR five years with neither.

Responsibilities

Provides anesthesia support and equipment readiness across operating rooms and other locations.
Mentors and trains Anesthesia Technicians and other team members.
Maintains equipment and documents, ensuring patient safety and quality standards.
