Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Sr. Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers across ORs, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, and perioperative areas.

The role requires independence, strong clinical skills, and mentoring of other technicians to ensure equipment and locations are ready and safe for procedures. The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree or ASATT certification, with several years of anesthesia tech experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in anesthesia technology or health-related field; certification preferred.
• In lieu of degree, must meet experience requirements.
• ASATT certification or equivalent required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia support in ORs, Cath Lab, ICU and other areas.
• Assist anesthesia providers before, during, and after procedures.
• Mentor and train fellow anesthesia technicians and staff.
• Operate as point-of-care testing super user where applicable.
