Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking an Anesthesia Technician II to ensure proper operation and maintenance of anesthesia machines, ventilators, monitoring equipment, and related devices. The role includes stocking supplies, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, and troubleshooting a range of anesthesia hardware.

Responsibilities include daily calibrations, setup of fiberoptic scopes and TEE probes, and ensuring equipment readiness for cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years as Certified Anesthesia Technician II.
• Active ASATT Anesthesia Technician Certification.
• Completion of AHA AED Heartsaver Certification within six months.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily calibrations and pre-procedure checklists on anesthesia machines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with anesthesia equipment and related systems.
• Stock and prepare anesthesia supplies and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Follow Infection Prevention Protocols for PPE and cleaning between cases.
• Assist with room setup, transport, and equipment movements as needed.
• Familiar with high-acuity areas and anesthesia peripherals as required.
