Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia services across our Miami‑Dade and Monroe County facilities. You will ensure equipment readiness and assist clinicians to uphold patient safety.

The role requires CPR certification, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of anesthesia tech experience; ASATT accredited program is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a collaborative caregiving culture.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year anesthesia tech experience required.
• Completion of an ASATT approved accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Checks, maintains, and prepares anesthesia equipment per IFU including machines, EKG monitors, defibrillators.
• Cleans, checks and stocks all anesthesia carts daily.
• Reports any deficiency or fault to Supervisor/Anesthesiologist immediately.
• Maintains a clean and orderly anesthesia supply room at all times.
• Assists anesthesia personnel as delegated including blocks and central lines.
• Functions as a preceptor to new employees.
• Inspects all equipment and reports deficiencies to supervisor and Biomed.
• Orders and maintains appropriate supply inventory.
• Troubleshoots anesthesia machines when necessary.
