Job summary

Lab49, an award-winning specialist consultancy, is seeking an Android Team Lead to own technical direction and delivery for client engagements in Richardson, TX. This hands-on leadership role requires guiding engineers, designing systems, and ensuring high-quality mobile solutions.

You will work with stakeholders to align product and technical goals, mentor the team, and drive adoption of best practices while delivering complex Android apps for banking onboarding and account management.

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of software design and development experience.
• 4+ years of leading Agile teams.
• Expert-level Android development with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience in consumer banking onboarding and account management.
• CI/CD for mobile apps and strong API integration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, deliver, and test Android applications for client engagements.
• Lead technical direction and mentor engineers on the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical and business priorities.
• Promote strong architecture and development best practices.
• Stay current with tech trends and adopt new tools as needed.
• Contribute to on-site delivery and client-facing activities.
