Job summary

Lab49 in Richardson, TX seeks an experienced Android Team Lead to own technical direction and delivery for client engagements. You will lead a hands-on team building scalable Android applications focused on customer onboarding, account management, and money movement.

You will work directly with clients and Lab49 leadership to ensure sound, high-quality outcomes while guiding architecture and development practices. This is an on-site role 5 days/week in Richardson, TX.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of experience designing and building complex software systems.
• 4+ years of leading Agile teams and guiding technical direction.
• Expert-level Android development with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, deliver, and test Android applications aligned to client goals.
• Collaborate with leadership, product owners, and technologists to set priorities.
• Break down problems and drive architecture improvements across teams.
