Job summary

Robinhood Wallet team is hiring a Senior Android Engineer to build and own mobile features for the Android app. You will craft scalable mobile architectures, define standards, and maintain high quality codebases while collaborating with product managers, backend engineers, and design teams.

Mentoring peers and raising team standards are key parts of the role. The role requires leading complex projects and delivering secure integrations with external partners, in a hybrid office setting in Menlo

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java with MVVM architecture.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow or RxJava, Retrofit and Room.
• Strong collaboration and product-focused communication.
• Ability to mentor peers and influence architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build features for the Robinhood Wallet Android app.
• Lead full feature lifecycle from ideation to release.
• Collaborate with product, backend, and design teams.
• Enforce mobile development standards and code reviews.
• Mentor developers and raise engineering standards.
