SPRIND in Germany seeks a experienced Mobile Engineer to join a senior team building a secure government-grade mobile wallet. You will develop and maintain the Android application, collaborate with Android/iOS engineers, the mobile security team, and backend developers to deliver a high-quality user experience.

You will focus on secure, scalable mobile solutions, balancing privacy and usability, and work across cross-functional, international teams to deliver reliable features with modern

Qualifications

• Understanding of the European Digital Identity Wallet ecosystem and eIDAS 2.0.
• Experience building secure mobile apps balancing security, privacy and usability, with OpenID4VCI/VP knowledge.
• Cross‑platform Android/iOS development is a strong plus and effective collaboration with product/design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Android application using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on architectural decisions and feature planning.
• Ensure secure data handling and integration with backend APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code under code reviews.
• Participate in code reviews and share feedback with peers.
• Work with product managers and designers to implement user-friendly features.
• Stay up to date with Android development trends and best practices.
