Qualifications

• Proficient in Kotlin with strong tradeoff reasoning.
• Experience building UI with Jetpack Compose in production apps.
• Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and Gradle configuration.
• Solid understanding of modern Android architecture and decision-making without hand-holding.
• Active use of AI tools in development workflows.
• Plus: Payments integration on Android.
• Plus: Real-time data patterns with WebSockets/gRPC.
• Plus: Cross-platform shared-code architectures.
• Plus: iOS/Swift experience.
• Plus: Experience in large, mature engineering organizations.

Responsibilities

• Build and own Android features spanning payments flows, real-time data, and core UI with end-to-end ownership.
• Implement polished, performant interfaces with Jetpack Compose for high-speed trading environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Gradle configuration for smooth shipping.
• Build and maintain integrations across WebSockets, gRPC, and streaming data for live markets.
• Collaborate effectively with a distributed team across time zones.
• Incorporate AI tools into your development workflow to move faster while maintaining output quality.
• Identify architectural gaps early to prevent scale-related issues.
