Job summary

Polymarket is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to build a world-class Android trading app. You will own features across payments, real-time data, and core UI, delivering fast, reliable experiences for millions of users.

You will advance the Android codebase, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with a distributed team to keep the product at scale. AI tooling will be part of the workflow to maintain a high output bar.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Kotlin and Android development.
• Production experience building UI with Jetpack Compose.
• Strong understanding of modern Android architecture.
• Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and Gradle configurations.
• Experience with real-time data patterns (WebSockets/gRPC) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cross-platform shared-code approaches is a plus.
• Experience integrating payments on Android is advantageous.
• Experience with iOS/Swift is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and own Android features spanning payments flows, real-time market data, and core UI with full accountability from design handoff through to production.
• Implement polished, performant interfaces with Jetpack Compose that perform under real trading conditions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Gradle configuration for fast, reliable shipping.
• Build and maintain integrations across WebSockets, gRPC, and streaming data for live markets.
• Collaborate with a distributed team across time zones and make decisions without close oversight.
• Actively incorporate AI tools into development workflow to move faster and maintain output.
• Identify gaps in Android architecture and engineering practices and address them early.
