WEX is seeking a Senior Android Engineer for the Mobility Mobile Engineering team. You will build and modernize our fleet-management apps used by drivers and fleet managers, collaborating with iOS and Android peers to deliver scalable experiences for 250k+ users.

This role emphasizes Kotlin-first development, UI excellence, production monitoring, and mentoring. You’ll own design decisions, contribute to CI/CD, and help shape patterns and practices for the platform while thriving in a high-trust,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin and Jetpack Compose skills.
• Experience with REST APIs and real-time communication patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Play Store releases.
• Ability to mentor and lead code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical direction for mobile apps using Kotlin-first approaches.
• Collaborate with product/design to deliver polished UX.
• Monitor app health via crash analytics and performance metrics.
