Job summary

PayPal is seeking an experienced mobile engineer in San Jose to lead end-to-end mobile development for consumer experiences like Venmo. You will own substantial parts of the SDLC, mentor teammates, and drive best practices in architecture, testing, and collaboration with product and operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of mobile development experience.
• Strong Kotlin skills and knowledge of multi-threaded, asynchronous code.
• Experience consuming GraphQL and REST APIs from Mobile applications.
• Ability to mentor and develop software engineers.
• Excellent communication with product and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with testing best practices; unit and automation tests.
• Knowledge of MVC and MVVM design patterns.

• Delivers complete SDLC solutions spanning design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations.
• Advises immediate management on project-level issues.
