Venmo is seeking an experienced Android engineer to build and ship compelling Venmo Commerce experiences. You will craft modern UI with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, own features end-to-end, and work across backend APIs, payments, and analytics.

You will collaborate with iOS, participate in architectural reviews, and help ensure performance, accessibility, and security across a wide range of Android devices. Hybrid Austin-based role with PayPal benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience building production Android apps in Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android architecture patterns and testing.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, test, and ship high-quality Android experiences for Venmo Commerce.
• Develop modern UI with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose within Venmo's architecture.
• Own features end-to-end from design to launch and iteration.
• Integrate with backend APIs, payments, identity, risk, analytics, and more.
• Collaborate with iOS to ensure coherent cross‑platform experiences.
