Job summary

Apptad Inc is seeking an experienced Android Developer to design, build, and maintain features for our Android application from our Cincinnati, OH team. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality UI/UX and robust performance across OS versions.

The role requires 5+ years of Android development experience, solid Kotlin skills, and familiarity with RESTful APIs and CI/CD pipelines. Jetpack Compose experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional Android development experience with shipped apps or features.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDKs across OS versions; Jetpack Compose a plus.
• Experience with large-scale apps and complex architectures.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTTP, and async data handling.
• Strong UI/UX understanding and collaboration with design teams.
• Solid object-oriented design, patterns, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
