Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with production Android apps.
• Strong Kotlin and Android SDK fundamentals.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and reactive state management.
• Experience shipping on Google Play and handling production issues.
• Clear communication and mentoring abilities.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of complex Android features from discovery through monitoring after release.
• Collaborate with backend and platform teams on API contracts, offline behavior, authentication, analytics.
• Review code and mentor engineers to raise quality without bottleneck.
• Partner with iOS engineers and design teams to ensure consistent product behavior.
