Job summary

CVS Health Digital is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer - Android to join a high-energy team delivering Android apps for CVS Health and Health100 (H100). You'll collaborate with design, product, and back-end engineers to ship features on an agile team.

You'll own development, maintenance and delivery of Android applications, applying best practices across the full software development life cycle in the Pharmacy Consumer Wellness domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development.
• 3+ years Android frontend development.

Responsibilities

• Developing, integrating and deploying Android Applications.
• Write efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose / Java in Android using Android Studio.
• Work in OOP and design patterns, such as MVVM, MVC, Strategy, etc.
• Create core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture.
• Work with concurrency including Thread, Handler, java, Coroutines and scheduling techniques
• Work with Product Management, Engineering, and UX team members to influence the android application development
