Job summary

CVS Health Digital is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer - Android to join a high-energy, growing team building next-generation Android apps for CVS and Health100. You will develop, maintain, and deliver features in an Agile environment, collaborating with product, design, and backend engineers to create a seamless omni-channel experience for customers.

The Senior Engineer will partner with Product Managers, Engineering Managers and fellow Front End and Back End Engineers to deliver

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software development working on enterprise-class applications.
3+ years of experience working on Android front-end development
3+ years of experience developing for multiple device sizes such as mobile phones and tablets, including portrait & landscape
3+ years of experience and understanding of the entire Mobile SDLC using Android SDK

Responsibilities

Developing, integrating and deploying Android Applications
Write efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose / Java in Android using Android Studio
Work in OOP and design patterns, such as MVVM, MVC, Strategy, etc.
Create core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture
Work with concurrency including Thread, Handler, java, Coroutines and scheduling techniques
Work with Product Management, Engineering, and UX team members to influence the android application development
