Job summary

CVS Health Digital is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Android to develop, maintain, and deliver Android applications within the Rx Digital Engineering team. You will collaborate with cross-functional design, product, and UX teams to ship features in an agile environment, applying best practices across the full software development life cycle.

You will partner with engineering managers and peers to enable a seamless omni-channel experience for CVS Health customers, while upholding security

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software development for enterprise-class applications.
3+ years of experience with Android front-end development.
3+ years of experience for multiple device sizes (mobile & tablets) including portrait & landscape.
3+ years of experience with the Mobile SDLC using Android SDK.

Responsibilities

Developing, integrating and deploying Android Applications.
Write efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Java in Android Studio.
Work in OOP and design patterns (MVVM, MVC, Strategy).
Create core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture.
Work with concurrency (Threads, Handlers, Coroutines).
Collaborate with Product, Engineering and UX teams to influence Android development.
