Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Android engineering experience, with leadership or mentoring roles.
• Deep Kotlin expertise with production Android apps at scale.
• Experience: Kotlin Coroutines, Retrofit, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose.
• Strong unit/integration testing and TDD experience.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practices.
• Excellent English communication (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, development, and maintenance of Android apps for scale.
• Set technical direction for Android codebase including frameworks and tooling.
• Embed AI-native practices across the PDLC from planning to release.
• Write clean code, lead peer reviews, and ensure test coverage.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor engineers and guide team through AI integration.
• Evaluate new Android technologies and drive adoption.
• Define team workflows incorporating AI-assisted coding and testing.
• Act as main Android technical contact across teams.
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and performance feedback.
