Job summary

Logitech is seeking an experienced Android Systems Engineer to architect, integrate, and deliver Android-based appliance platforms. You will bridge hardware bring‑up, kernel, HAL, and framework services to create reliable, secure systems for embedded products.

You will work with hardware, firmware, platform software, QA and external partners to ensure each release meets performance and security requirements, from bootloader through user‑facing features.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in embedded Linux, Android platform development, or Android device software engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience building and shipping Android-based hardware products.
• Deep understanding of Android architecture (framework, native services, HAL, boot process).
• Experience with kernel drivers, device trees, debugging, and performance analysis.
• Experience with Android BSP integration and platform bring‑up on SoC-based products.
• Deep experience in at least one sub‑system: Camera / Display / Audio.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deliver Android-based software platforms for appliance devices.
• Customize and optimize Android system behavior for kiosk style operation, device management, security, and reliability.
• Lead integration of Camera, Display, and Audio frameworks and related HALs.
• Debug cross‑subsystem issues and validate hardware/software integration with partners.
• Guide platform bring‑up on new SoCs and validate BSP releases.
