Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development with languages like C/C++, Kotlin or Java.
• 3 years testing/maintaining or launching software with 1 year in large-scale design.
• 3 years Android app or framework development experience.
• Experience with low-level systems programming and Linux interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Write and test code in C, C++ and Kotlin/Java across Android HALs, AIDL interfaces, and system services.
• Participate in design reviews with stakeholders to decide available technologies.
• Review code and provide feedback on style, tests, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Contribute to documentation and adapt architecture specs based on product updates and metrics.
• Triage issues and debug root causes impacting hardware, kernel, network, or services.
