Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a supervisor or team lead.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Histotechnologist.
• ASCP Histotechnologist certification - Eligible; must obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Anatomic Pathology/Histology/Digital Pathology workflows and quality.
• Supervise staff, ensure training, and review performance.
• Ensure correct test performance and QC procedures; regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement quality improvement actions.
• Participate in recruitment, hiring decisions.
• Schedule staff to ensure coverage; manage overtime.
• Maintain equipment and approve capital expenditures.
• Prepare for inspections and ensure readiness.
• Act as histology technologist for frozen sections and cytology preparation.
