Job summary

Nemours Children's Health seeks an Anatomic Pathology Supervisor in Wilmington, DE to oversee histology, autopsy and digital pathology workflows. You will supervise staff, ensure training, evaluate competency and manage schedules to prevent service interruptions.

The role requires 5+ years as a Histotechnologist, 3+ years in leadership, and BS/BA or Histotechnology credentials; ASCP certification is eligible with 6 months to obtain.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in science-related field or Histotechnology (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a supervisor or team lead.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Histotechnologist.
• Histotechnologist ASCP certification - Eligible. Must obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Anatomic Pathology/Histology/Digital Pathology workflow incl. autopsy and digital pathology.
• Supervise staff, ensure training, competency and scheduling integrity.
• Ensure tests are performed correctly and QC procedures are followed.
• Lead quality programs, corrective actions and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Participate in recruitment, staff development and continuing education.
