Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in San Francisco seeks a Staff-level Anaplan Solution Architect to lead architecture, design, and performance of our complex Anaplan models within the Finance Technology CoE. You will be the senior technical authority, set architectural direction, mentor other model builders, and partner with FP&A to translate business requirements into scalable designs.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in financial systems or IT systems with hands-on Anaplan model-building experience.
Anaplan Solution Architect certification is mandatory; Master Anaplanner certification is highly preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in complex Anaplan model architecture, performance tuning, and scalability.
Deep understanding of FP&A concepts—budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Experience with agile software development, systems interfaces, and configuration.
Proven ability to drive complex technical initiatives with minimal oversight.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences.
Experience with upstream systems (Oracle ERP/FCCS, Workday, Redshift, Trino).

Responsibilities

Own architecture and technical ownership for Anaplan models and integrations within scope (Polaris-based models, IFP, and Financial Consolidation App).
Independently identify problems, define goals, and deliver large-scale rebuilds and enhancements.
Define architecture standards, performance tuning practices, and scalability patterns.
Lead large, complex model builds from concept to execution with cross-functional collaboration.
Conduct architecture reviews ensuring governance and naming conventions are followed.
Oversee FP&A operations from a technical design and reliability perspective.
Coordinate design, development, and testing for complex model changes with high-quality outputs.
Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and business stakeholders to align Anaplan with long-term planning.
