Job summary

The Northern California Golf Association seeks a Senior Manager, Business Analytics & Modeling to turn membership, participation, and financial data into actionable insights that drive growth and satisfaction. You will design analytical frameworks, forecasting models, and real-time dashboards for strategic decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, economics, business, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience in business analytics, data science, or a related field; membership or subscription-based organization experience a strong plus.
• Proficiency in SQL and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong financial modeling skills; comfortable building and stress-testing models.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear narratives and recommendations.
• Experience with CRM or membership management platforms (HubSpot experience a significant plus).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present information clearly to various stakeholders with various levels of expertise.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• High degree of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the analytical models that underpin strategic planning across the NCGA.
• Membership modeling including acquisition funnel, cohort retention, churn propensity, and lifetime value.
• Financial modeling including driver-based revenue/expense models, budget-vs-actual variance, and multi-year forecasts.
• Operational modeling with scenario and sensitivity analyses and growth modeling for initiatives.
• Partner with marketing, membership, operations and finance to translate data needs into analytical solutions.
• Design and maintain executive dashboards and reporting tools surfacing KPIs and trends in real time.
• Work with marketing to evaluate member acquisition and engagement programs, including A/B testing and attribution analysis.
• Conduct segmentation and cohort analyses to identify growth and efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with customer service to conduct NPS surveys and leverage insights to improve satisfaction.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
