Job summary

Lightcast is seeking a Lead Analyst in Consulting (Data, Analytics & Insights) to own complex analytics workstreams end-to-end, translating large datasets into actionable insights for strategic client decisions. The role blends analytics excellence with client delivery, visualization, and mentoring of analysts.

The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional delivery, develop scalable methodologies, and ensure high analytical standards across engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics, consulting, research, or related field.
• Degree in analytics, data science, economics, statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience owning complex analytical workstreams end-to-end.
• Strong background in quantitative analysis, data interpretation, and quality assurance.
• Experience in client-facing or stakeholder-facing environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar tools.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex analytical workstreams from problem framing through final insights.
• Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for client decision-making.
• Develop executive-ready narratives, visualizations, and presentations communicating key findings.
• Ensure insights support strategic decisions and transformation initiatives.
• Review and ensure data accuracy, methodological consistency, and alignment with standards.
• Mentor analysts to elevate quality and impact of analyses.
