Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Manager of Analytics & Insights to lead strategy, development, and operations of enterprise analytics capabilities. You will guide the analytics roadmap, deliver scalable data and reporting solutions, and promote a data-driven culture across the organization.

You will lead a global team of analytics professionals to improve commercial performance, customer experience, and supply chain operations while partnering with business and technology leaders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in CS, Engineering, IS, analytics or related field; MS preferred.
• 8+ years in analytics, BI, data engineering/science; leadership 3+ yrs.
• Proven success leading enterprise analytics platforms and teams.
• Experience with modern analytics infra, cloud data solutions.
• Expertise in Tableau/Power BI and multiple analytics tools.
• Strong SQL, Python, ETL/ELT; cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP); SAP/ERP integration.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise analytics strategy, roadmap, and priorities.
• Modernize Digital Analytics; migrate to AI-supported insights.
• Build scalable analytics and reporting for customer, commercial, ops goals.
• Establish enterprise data foundation for consistent reporting.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver analytics solutions.
• Derive actionable insights via analytics, experimentation, KPI reporting.
• Lead cloud analytics platforms, data infra, and data pipelines.
• Set data architecture, governance, security, and analytics engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and security to prioritize initiatives.
• Build and develop a global analytics team of 3–5 associates.
• Foster innovation and data-driven decision-making culture.
• Lead cross-functional analytics and data transformation programs.
• Present analytics strategies and outcomes to executives and stakeholders.
• Manage vendor/consultant/partner relationships.
