Job summary

Paramount, a renowned entertainment company, is seeking a Sr. Manager Analytics Engineer for Content Data to lead scalable data pipelines and core metadata models supporting Paramount’s streaming services.

You will collaborate with analytics, engineering, content operations, licensing, and product teams to deliver trusted datasets, dashboards, and insights at scale. The role emphasizes data governance, production-grade data solutions, and leadership across cross-functional teams within Paramount

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in analytical engineering, data engineering, or data analytics with solid SQL and data modeling expertise.
• Deep knowledge of ETL/ELT principles, data architecture, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience building scalable data products and pipelines using tools such as Databricks, Airflow, Spark, or similar platforms.
• You should have direct experience with modeling and maintaining content metadata pipelines.
• Proficient ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver high-impact data solutions.
• Fluency in building and maintaining production-grade datasets in cloud-based data environments (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker and Tableau, including building curated data layers and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline Ownership: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines managing content metadata.
• Content Metadata Modeling: Develop reliable data models unifying content metadata from different sources.
• Data Quality: Ensure metadata completeness, precision, and consistency across systems.
• Performance Monitoring: Contribute to dashboards tracking catalog health and KPIs.
• Tooling & Enablement: Build scalable datasets in Databricks, Looker, and Snowflake for self-service analytics.
• Documentation & Standards: Lead technical documents, coding standards, and data governance practices.
