Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first fintech company seeking an experienced analytics engineer for the Revenue Analytics team. You will lead scalable data products for revenue teams, shaping data modeling, metrics, dashboards, automation, governance, and AI enablement across the organization.

You will set the technical direction for the Revenue data layer, establish semantic foundations, ensure data quality, and raise the impact of data across Revenue.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering, BI, data engineering or related technical analytics role.
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, data modeling, metrics design, data quality, documentation and modern analytics practices.
• Strong knowledge of BI tools (Sigma/Looker/Tableau) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake) and data platforms (Databricks).
• Experience applying AI tools within analytics workflows and leading complex, ambiguous projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact data product initiatives for Revenue, from problem definition to design, implementation, rollout and adoption.
• Advance AI initiatives within the Revenue data ecosystem by identifying use cases and establishing semantic, metadata and governance foundations.
• Design and build durable, well-tested data products powering revenue operations, reporting, and self-service analytics.
• Set technical direction for Revenue's data layer across dbt models, metrics, semantic structures, documentation, lineage, testing and access controls.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and scale Revenue Analytics through improved data architecture and tooling.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analysts and cross-functional partners.
