Alight in the United States is seeking an Analytics Senior Software Engineer to bridge Data Engineering and Business Analytics within the Alight ecosystem. You will design enterprise data models, drive BI solutions, and mentor junior engineers to deliver scalable analytics platforms.

The role emphasizes performance, governance, and collaboration with data engineers, BI teams, and product stakeholders to build semantic models and dashboards across Tableau, Power BI, and QuickSight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience building scalable BI solutions across enterprise datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise‑grade data models and own semantic layer architecture.
• Build and optimize reports and dashboards across BI tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and review code, models, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI teams, and Product stakeholders.
• Ensure data governance and quality across analytics platforms.
• Tune SQL transformations and optimize large datasets for performance.
