Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Analytics Engineer in the United States to transform complex business data into reliable analytics solutions. You will design data models, pipelines, and reporting assets that enable trusted insights across the organization and support smarter decision-making.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and analytics teams to modernize BI architecture, including cloud-based analytics and Microsoft Fabric, while improving data quality, governance, and reporting adoption.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
  • Experience designing data pipelines, curated datasets, and analytics solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, star schemas, data marts, and business-focused analytical models.
  • Experience developing Power BI semantic models including relationships, calculations, measures, and performance optimization.
  • Advanced SQL skills with complex queries, views, stored procedures, scripts, and data validation.
  • Ability to gather requirements, understand reporting needs, and translate into technical implementations.
  • Strong communication to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with data engineering, BI, analytics, and business teams to deliver trusted reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Preferred exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Dataflows, and BI migrations; governance and metadata practices a plus.
  • Experience building dashboards/KPIs supporting operational, financial, sales or service decisions.
  • Master’s degree in related tech/analytics/business is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Understand reporting requirements and translate them into clear technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models (dimensional models, star schemas, data marts).
  • Build Power BI semantic models with relationships, calculations, measures, and reporting structures.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and curated datasets.
  • Support modernization toward Microsoft Fabric and modern analytics platforms.
  • Validate data accuracy, investigate discrepancies, document business logic, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Monitor reporting assets and metrics for data quality, performance issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Create and maintain documentation covering data models, definitions, mappings, calculations, and governance practices.
  • Promote data governance through standardized definitions and metadata management.
  • Integrate data from APIs, databases, apps, logs, and business systems.
