Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to power customer experience and compliance analytics. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, dimensional models, and ML-powered analytics products, driving self-service dashboards and AI-assisted tools for CX and operations.

You will design causal inference studies, run quasi-experiments, and partner with stakeholders to balance tactical delivery with long-term strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics engineering, data science, or data engineering with production pipelines.
• Advanced SQL and Python for data modeling, pipelines, and ML deployment.
• Experience designing A/B tests and causal inference for executive reporting.
• Proven track record building production dashboards and self-serve analytics tools.
• Experience in compliance or regulatory data domains (AML / monitoring) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, build, and maintenance of production data pipelines and dimensional models.
• Develop self-service dashboards and AI-assisted analytics tools for CX stakeholders.
• Design and execute causal inference frameworks and quasi-experiments to measure impact.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Lead deep-dive investigations using advanced statistics to identify opportunities.
• Shape analytics engineering standards and testing practices for data quality.
