Profitero+ in Lehi, UT is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own the transformation layer between data ingestion and BI. You will define how raw data becomes trusted, business-ready models powering decisions across the organization. This hybrid role requires onsite presence 1-2 days/week.

Strong candidates will have 5+ years in data engineering, expert dbt skills, and experience with BigQuery and Looker. The team values ownership, collaboration, and high-velocity delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data/analytics engineering or similar roles.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/related field or equivalent experience.
• Expert-level dbt with production projects, tests, docs, and incremental models.
• Strong SQL and data modeling, focused on BigQuery or similar warehouse.
• Experience end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to BI-ready models.
• Familiarity with ecommerce, CPG, digital shelf, or retail analytics data sources.

Responsibilities

• Own the Transformation Layer with dbt models to produce analytics-ready datasets.
• Define modeling standards, naming conventions, and testing practices.
• Collaborate with BI and data engineers to ensure Looker sources are well-modeled.
• Identify data gaps and coordinate with sourcing to resolve them.
• Mentor junior team members and document data models and lineage.
