Job summary

Trove Brands is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to advance our analytics and data strategy from our Lehi HQ. You will champion data governance, build scalable analytics, and mentor teams across the organization to drive data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes advanced SQL, data modeling, cloud data warehousing (Snowflake), and modern BI solutions. Strong collaboration and communication are essential in our in-office setting in Utah.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL experience with large data volumes.
• Data modeling and data warehouse development with modern cloud tech (Snowflake).
• Proficient in Python or similar languages.
• Experience with GitLab or other version control systems.
• Experience with Airflow or orchestration platforms.
• Experience with modern AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor).
• Ability to create compelling data visualizations.
• Proven ability to implement and maintain complex BI solutions.
• Strong collaboration and rapid learning in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in ERP/Finance/Supply Chain/Sales/Marketing is a plus.
• Excellent MS Office skills and data storytelling abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations to enhance analytics strategy and adoption of new tools/processes.
• Develop and maintain data governance and data quality practices.
• Mentor Analytics Engineers & Analysts across the company.
• Create data analyses and high-visibility dashboards for multiple departments.
• Model data and develop ETL to ensure quality Trove reporting needs.
• Serve as a data champion linking departments and processes for data-driven improvements.
• Communicate change recommendations based on data analysis and trends.
