World Finance in Greenville, SC is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to design and build the analytics data layer, including curated tables, marts, and a semantic/metrics layer so the team reports on consistent definitions. You will translate business questions into performant SQL and documented datasets, migrate from SQL Server to Snowflake, and champion data reliability.

You will own critical data products, implement validation checks, and collaborate with Analytics, Data Engineering and BI

Formación

• 5+ years combined experience across data engineering and analytics.
• Advanced SQL and hands-on data modeling (dimensional models, marts, semantic layers).
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred) and a transformation framework (e.g., dbt).
• SQL Server / T-SQL and Python — migrating objects to Snowflake and building scalable pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Build the analytics data layer — curated tables, marts, and semantic layer so common definitions are used.
• Own data product reliability — implement freshness, volume, schema, and business-rule checks.
• Bridge between Analytics and Data Engineering; communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Ensure self-serve data with documentation, lineage, and governed usage.
