Job summary

Harnham, a technology-led analytics partner, is hiring an Analytics Engineer in North Carolina to own semantic models through to customer-facing analytics products.

You’ll build and scale analytics using Snowflake, dbt, Looker, SQL and AI tooling, while partnering with Product and business stakeholders to shape roadmaps and KPIs.

This is a greenfield, impact-focused role with direct exposure to leadership and external-facing analytics used by thousands of customers globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Analytics Engineering, BI Engineering, Data Analytics or similar.
• Strong Snowflake experience.
• Looker expertise or deep exposure to modern semantic-layer tooling.
• Experience building analytics products, not just dashboards.
• Comfortable partnering with Product and business stakeholders.
• Experience using AI coding tools in day-to-day workflows.

Responsibilities

• Building and scaling analytics products using Snowflake, dbt and Looker.
• Designing semantic models and defining meaningful business KPIs.
• Working closely with Product to shape analytics strategy and roadmap.
• Partnering closely with business partners as a vertical analytics specialist e.g. Transactional Data, Finance etc.
• Developing embedded and customer-facing analytics experiences.
• Leveraging AI tooling to accelerate analytics development.
• Driving governance, performance optimisation, and self-service analytics capabilities.
